by Loren L. on This review is for Infusion lounge late-night on a Saturday. So, my good friend decided to have her birthday party here...and we had a crazy amount of people going at once. Luckily, I was put on her VIP list...otherwise, I'd be stuck waiting in the long-as* line just to have to pay $20 cover to get inside ($10 if you're on the guest list). I grew up in Los Angeles, and I've been to Vegas many times before...so I know all about the waiting in long lines, paying ridiculous cover, and not being let in unless I'm with a whole bunch of ladies. But, after moving to San Fran, I realized that having a good time on Sat night doesn't require all that pomp and cirumstance bullsh*t. I mean, the night was great because I didn't have to go through all that...the interior of the lounge is beautiful, the bathroom really is impressive, the music was not bad, and though the drinks are pricey the alcohol content is not bad at all. But with all that, I just imagine what would have happened if we did NOT buy a table and were NOT on the VIP list. Sorry Infusion Lounge...this ain't Vegas.
by Dena S. on I prefer hanging out at STK for cocktails only vs. eating there, but on the few occasions I did have a meal it was good. This is a great place to meet up with friends prior to going out late night, or come after dinner elsewhere to sit and enjoy a few cocktails in the interim. The weekday crowd is definitely better than the weekend - too much B&T.

I heard great reviews about Yoshi's in the eastbay so i was extremely excited to try this place out. But from when we were greeted to the end of the meal, everything about the whole experience was disappointing. I could write an entire page or two about the experience but i'll save u the trouble of reading such a long review...to make a long story short... basically horrible!!! Hostest sucked, server sucked (waited forever for her), food flat out sucked, sucked!!! no flavor!! and came out cold!!! WTF!!! I dont mind paying money for good food, the service could even suck as long as the food is amazing...but two thumbs down on both areas! I wouldn't even rate it one star. but i will give it to them for the architecture and decor...but one word or this palce...sucked!!!!!!!!!!
