Went there last night with 3 girlfriends and it was actually a pretty fun night out. When walking in we decided to go downstairs to the hip hop area (there's also supposed to be a spanish area upstairs). The music was very good from the getgo and we were dancing almost immediately. The only issue we had was having to swat a lot of guys away b/c we didn't really go to meet anyone, only to have a good time. Some of the guys were very desperate, stalkerish almost... and there was definitely some unsolicited rubbing/touching goin' on... So if you are uncomfortable with that, I recommend you do not go; however if you are looking to dance to good music go, however BYOD (bring your own date) :) BTW, not sure if the spanish area is ever any good, but when we ventured up there the dance floor was empty and they weren't even playing spanish music.

If this was my first time trying this place, I would not be impressed. Hubby and I ordered two milkshakes.. 1) Pistachio - great flavor, although hubby thought it was too sweet. Very soupy (which I like!) but oddly warm for a milkshake 2) Vanilla - bland. I am a diehard chocolate lover, but I can go for vanilla if it's yummy (i.e. Haagen daaz vanilla status). This did not meet my expectations. Very thick, like eating froyo, which was strange because the pistachio was so soupy! But atleast it was cold.. Thus, inconsistent milkshakes, especially when served to the same party? Come on..you can do better than that Bobby.. As for burgers.. 1) Dallas Burger - unique, and quite tasty. Had a sweet, southern taste to it. 2) Crunchburger - too salty! The double cheese plus chips was way too much for me. Moist burger, but the saltiness was overpowering. Overall, burgers were moist and of good quality. However, this was NOT my first time eating at Bobby's burger palace.. I was one of the lucky (and crazy patient) people who sat at Bobby's for grand opening day, and a few times after that, and a fair warning to all: the burgers have SHRUNK!! When we first saw the burgers coming out during our recent dine, we immediately noticed that they were smaller than the burgers we had a few weeks ago during opening week. I mean, we did not analyze it (at first), but from afar we definitely saw the difference. Then, we closely analyzed our own burgers, and confirmed that both the circumference and thickness of the patties have decreased. The burgers looked completely engulfed by the buns, whereas a few weeks ago they appeared to be bursting with meat and dressings. I mean, we expected top quality stuff for grand opening with Bobby around and all, but this just seemed ridiculous. I may be going back to Bobby's if I get a crazy craving for beef and I don't want to septa down to five guys, or a milkshake (I still have love for the milkshakes..black and white is my fav!), but otherwise I would say pass.

Top Flr is the place I meet friends for drinks before we venture out into the city. I've eaten the food many times (over a dozen) and I still have yet to find anything that reels me in. On the other hand, though, their Yellow Roses cocktail is worth every penny and is so delicious you can't help but drink and drink and drink till you are so close to loopy you have to order something to eat just to keep from falling off your stool. Space is limited and is often filled to the gills, but if you aren't planning on staying all night there's no need to moan about it. So go for the drinks, enjoy the eye candy staff, but skip the meal. You'll have a better night, anyway, if you don't blow your wad all in one place.
