Can I just say how much I love this place? FABULOUS FOOD, SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHERE!! I've been here twice and it was all in one week. It was my birthday and since we had more than six people, we had a pre-set menu. The menu had my name and Happy Birthday printed on it as well! What a nice touch! It does get a bit pricey when you have a bigger party. They have you go to the lounge area downstairs where you can dance and drink while waiting for a table. The people down there were cool too and gave us free drinks after dinner!! You would think at this place the people would be rude because they have such a unique gimmick . . . WRONG!! I had the best service in my life at this place!! When sitting at the bar, the bartender was so sweet and kind! He gave us free drinks and wanted to take pictures with us. He got the "girls" to come so we could take pictures with them. I recommend the flavored sake! Speaking of the girls, I swear to god I would never think some of them were actually men. They made me look bad as a woman. I wish I could be as pretty as some of these girls, plus I give them a lot of props for dancing in high heels on a bar. They want you to make reservations so you make at least two of the shows. Each show has three dances unless it is the last one, which usually has more. They will announce the names of people celebrating stuff. Sometimes the girls will let you do shots off of their bodies if it is your birthday. It's actually pretty funny!! Everything on the menu is good! I especially love the potato stars (separate side dish), Grilled Herb and Shrimp Salad, Orange Lamb with Cucumber salad, the banana beignets (best dessert there! I don't even like bananas), and the ice cream cones (coconut, taro, and jackfruit flavors). Go here if you want an experience of a lifetime!!!

I love it here and all of it's bits. I dream of the breakfast sliders. I dance my ass off on the floor whenever I get a chance. It's a great laidback place to bring friends, relax, boogie down, people watch, and find constant entertainment. I actually had to keep myself away for a few weekends bc since I moved to no liberties I was constantly making appearances. Fear not, I'll definitely be back the weekend of the 4th!

**This is a review of Venu as a business meeting/private party location** "Business Conference" at a club! Sweet! They rent out the space for events and I was impressed at how well the space worked during non drunken/dancing hours. Yes, in the light you can tell the chairs have been around since before smoking was outlawed, by the various cigarette marks burned into the seats, but you have to look beyond those little details. I was there for a Ladies Who Launch chat/networking event and several women set-up tables around the perimeter and then the a small "stage" which I think it typically an elevated dancing area was used for the speakers. The audience sat on the cushy benches in the middle and watched from the sides. I am not sure on the price, but heard it was a good deal and it was great to be able to have the event right in the heart of downtown Boston. I would definitely attend an event there again, and will keep it in mind next time I am planning something!
