Oh Tommy the bartender, you are one hangover giving bastard. I say that in the nicest way possible, of course. This place was a lot of fun. Came here with a group for a friends bday a few weekends back. The place was crowded, and thus a bit hard to get tables together for a larger group (it's an intimate setting). Despite the close quarters, I'd definitely recommend this place. Drinks are STRONG. Prices are right. Atmosphere is fun. All in all - an ideal location for a night out. But make sure it is that last place you are planning to go, because the only way you'll be leaving Martuni's is stumbling thanks to Tommy's tendency to pour strong! I had a raspberry lemon drop - this was delish. Never had such a foo foo drink before, but once in a while you need to branch out. This was a recommendation from one of the servers - good rec! Then we switched to mandarin (vodka) sodas with lime. Holy cow, this was pretty much straight vodka. For $6 I got straight Absolute Mandarin with a splash of soda. Tommy, you rocked the night we were there, I was praising you. The next morning, however, I was cursing your existence as I suffered a day long hangover that made me useless for the day.

Holy crap, I have no idea how I even remembered the name of this place to review it. It was that time of the night, and it seemed like a good idea to keep the party going, of course that comes at a price. The cover was a little pricey, but the people watching was worth it's weight in gold. The crowd is in an altered state, and the artsy shadow porn playing on the wall is hard to look away from. We stayed long enough to realize the sun was coming up soon. Not sure how often I could come here, but it is a good place to keep in you back pocket for when you are having one of 'those" nights. ;-)

No fellas reviewed this dig yet? rly? Been here twice so far and loved it both times. I think I speak for all my friends when I say that this place gets more fun when you know how to dance. If you were ever here on a Friday night and saw a bunch of little Asian dudes and chicas ambling awkwardly around the rail between the dance floor and the doors, that was us. Still, everyone started their Two-Step somewhere. =\] Kinda wish they would cut out the hip hop, but that's just me. I saw some age 40-something Texan couples getting out there and doing some REALLY awkward tooshy slapping, beer bottles in tow, and...grinding? Was that really grinding, yall? At your age? COMAWN guys!* No. Please no! Just no. Live music is a plus! *I am totally punishing my kids and everyone else by doing this when I get old and comfortable and married.
