I've dined at several Ethiopian-Eritrean restaurants in Atlanta and Selam is, by far, the best. The food is excellent and the staff are delightful. The hostesses/waitresses are always happy to help you select various dishes and they are almost overly generous with the injera. I've never left Selam feeling anything less then stuffed and happy. The prices are also very reasonable.i went to selam when they didn't have a big reserved group and i was amazed at the customer service and how the manger kept on asking us our feedback.....it was indeed a pleasurable experience. on top of that you pay $9.99 for a dish and it can feed 3 people....I loved it. one thing that sets this place apart form other Ethiopian places is that its not just an Ethiopian place its also an Eritrean place so when you go to Selam your not only getting Ethiopian foods but Eritrean food aswell, thus its called Habeshan which is the cultural combination of those two countries. I liked the history and the different flavors of the cuisine....not the same old same old

This place is really good. Very relaxing and not to crazy. The house Margarita were good and there good people that hang out in there. I love the scenery and the back patio is my favorite with the Aztecan painting on the walls. Bartenders are nice and the price is good. Nice place to hang out.
