Food-A-I had the shrimp tacos(soft) with the home fries. The tacos were good. I could have done without the home fries.....very hard. I also had a root beer which I have not had in a lonnnnng time. Very refreshing:-) My girlfriend had the shrimp Po Boy-She said it was good(not as big and tasty as the ones in New Orleans) but good. Service B-Felt like we were sitting there about 10 minute's. We finally called the host over who took and delivered our drink order. I went on this trip with a girlfriend but I do plan to go back with my hubbie. Prices-A-$10.50 for the tacos and $9.50 for the Po-Boy.

I'm officially a fan of Mighty. I went here on Friday night to see a bunch of hip hop DJs, including Talib Kweli...but I also came here last fall for a Too Short concert. Very nice, spacious, warehouse club with friendly door people, tall ceilings, two bar areas and a coat check ($3)--which is practically unheard of at clubs these days. There was also a nice mix of Bay Area people and clothing styles...from sneakers and hoodies to mini skirts and stilletos. I have to admit we mainly came to see Talib, but since he didn't show up till almost midnight, we found our way to the back room and had tons of fun with the DJ spinning songs from the 1990-2000 decade, including such artists as Color Me Badd, Bobby Brown, and Kris Kross. The DJ was off the hook! We had SO much fun dancing back there and there was plenty of room, since most folks were braving the packed crowd in the front room. My only complaint would probably be the fact that my ears were seriously ringing when I left Mighty. I noticed when retrieving my coat, that ear plugs were being sold for a $1. Next time I go here, I might have pick up a couple of those...

Big and beautiful, this "super club" is the closest thing we have in atlanta to anything remotely "Miami" or "LA". Especially since Vison said bye-bye. The crowd is younger than most Midtown clubs, but that is the appeal here...it is full of youthful energy, style, and culture.
