by Jeremy K. on I came here at 2 in the morning on a friday night with a guy friend of mine and we had a great time. The door bs was kept to a minimum (we both got in without cover, being well dressed charming, good looking and fun does have its advantages). The staff was cool and had in my mind the perfect amount of people. It was filled without being packed, easy to order drinks, there were places to sit without having to get bottle service. The crowd was attractive and clearly out to have fun. I also came here with some friends and got bottle service here on a Sunday about six months ago. The Sunday scene was way more packed, but still really fun, though in a more conventional club way. As some of the other reviewers mention, the decor is a little over the top, but so what, its clubbing in new york after all. Bottom line, if you are interested in more upscale venues GoldBar is definitely worth trying. If you want to be able to talk come on a Friday or Saturday, if you just want to party sunday is your day.
by Burton Ortis on Love this place - End Up just might be my favourite club in the city ! Unlike many other clubs where most people stand around with drinks and look bored, the crowd at the End Up is always smiling, dancing and having fun ! Also, unlike many other clubs in the city, End Up has really good sound: You can really feel the music while on the dance floor. This place is made for dancing, and the crowd certainly understands that. The music is mostly awesome(if you are into House and Electro, which they've been playing quite a lot lately) ! End Up has a really large and beautiful patio with water fountain, and waterfalls: a great place to relax from dancing, and for talking with friends and strangers.
by Foster K. on The biggest aquarium in the world is surprisingly fast to get through. I've never been accused of not taking my time to look at fish, and we were done with our trip thru the place in about 3hrs. I figured on at least 6, I mean c'mon it's the biggest in the WORLD! The setup is such that you are very efficiently funneled along in a way that keeps you moving and minimizes crowds. Also, 3 huge tanks (beluga whales, whale sharks, and barrier reef) take up most of the facility, and so once you've seen them you've seen most of the aquarium. The Beluga whales are really spectacular, and probably the highlight for me (runner up is the barrier reef, followed by the sea dragons). The huge tank with the whale sharks is an amazing feat, but is a bit cloudy due to the fact that whale sharks are filter feeders. Basically, the whale shark food prevents you from seeing the whale sharks much of the time, which is unfortunate. The barrier reef exhibit has some of the most amazing looking, jewel-like fish I've ever seen. I could've stood in front of that one for a long time. This is a great place to take kids (they have a "discovery pool" where kids can touch and pick up stuff), and is a must-see for anyone with a free morning or afternoon in Atlanta.
