by Anna B. on The best part about this place is hands down the rooftop. I was here this past weekend and the weather was great, so it was lovely upstairs. As people have said, Park is HUGE. It's pretty easy to get lost in here, and while it was really crowded when we were there on Saturday, it didn't seem it since there was so much space. The upstairs was busier, although there was still space to sit. I would suggest coming here with a big group of people. Almost everyone I saw seemed to be here in groups, it wasn't so much of a singles joint. Since there's space, you won't have a problem grabbing a spot for your drinks and stuff and still being able to dance. So why only 3 stars? This place had so much potential and could have been much better. I had a lot of fun, but it was definitely because of the people I was with. Well drinks were $11, which is ridiculous, and there was a $30 credit card minimum. Also, the place got pretty disgusting by the end of the night. And as mentioned in many previous reviews, the bouncers are assholes without any reason to be. If you do go to Park, keep in mind that there are multiple bars, and there's no need to wait in line at the one upstairs on the roof or the one when you first walk in. The one (or two) farther in the back on the main floor are much less crowded and you'll get quicker service.
by Zelda Capan on How refreshing to enjoy great live music without paying a huge cover charge. (Although the band I saw there last night, the Robert Stewart Experience, would have been WORTH a high priced cost of admission - they were fantastic!) I really enjoyed this venue and plan to come back.
by Kevin P. on Went here during restaurant week, so maybe the food is normally awesome - but it wasn't when me and my girlfriend went. It certainly wasn't bad, but you could eat just as well at Thaifoon in NPB or even cheesecake factory (for the appetizers). Service was fine. That place was crowded as hell. It was also very loud in there. The place is HUGE, but they make people wait for quite some time, because they don't want to push the chairs off the tables on the second floor? Maybe. I will say this, the waiting area is cool. there is a bar with leather couches/benches. Also there are wasabi peas out for the taking in the waiting area. So thanks for the classy look and feel, but no thanks for the food and over-hype.
