by S L. on I went to this place having rather low expectations. I'm not a fan of super trendy hotspots or overpriced Asian-fusion food, but friends really wanted to go and it's in one of Jay-Z's songs, so you know it's kinda legit. If you're going to dine here, you might as well go all out and be a baller. Don't order something basic like the dumplings or kung pao chicken even if they are the cheapest things on the menu. Yes, fried rice is acceptable, but it's also overpriced. ($12 worth of fried rice in Queens would get you the entire store). Probably won't come back here unless I feel the need to have overpriced Chinese food.
by Marion Klines on Luckie Food Lounge seems to be a place you just end up at because everything else is full or closed. I had mediocre sushi at moderately high prices, and a wine that was definitely overpriced. I'm pretty sure it's meant mainly to prey upon the Aquarium and Coke goers. For nighttime freaks, it's a bit better. There's an area to dance and the environment is definitely 'exciting'. The bar was large and full as well, though drinks looked a bit pricey.
by J. D. on Big and beautiful, this "super club" is the closest thing we have in atlanta to anything remotely "Miami" or "LA". Especially since Vison said bye-bye. The crowd is younger than most Midtown clubs, but that is the appeal here...it is full of youthful energy, style, and culture.
