by angie c. on I became a fan VERY FAST! I just love the urban vibe you feel as soon as u come in. The service is impecable and the food, Oh the food. FOr starters I had the salad with goat cheese, pistachios, berries, and honey lavender dressing, CAN WE SAY MAGICAL! The portions are just perfect, somewhere b/w European and American portion ( not too big, not too small)! Their pizza is astounding, thin and crisp and cooked on a woodfire Oven so u get that unqiue earthy taste and they have really upscale ingredients. Love the atmosphere, love the food, u will see me here Lots!
by Corey Guerero on This place is what it is: fast food, done right. We took a handful of burgers from here tubing with us on the Guadalupe, and they still tasted great 3 hours later. It looked a BIT like a UT freshman cafeteria when we went, but who isn't thrilled about gaining the freshman 15 on ground beef happiness?
by Maria G. on Um, how could I not rateclubs this place. This is my spot!!! As you might have gathered from my previous statment, this is my all time favorite bar! No skanky girls, down to earth guys (at least the ones I've met), awesome drinks, non-mainstream music, cool bartenders, and an excellent atmosphere. Thursday nights are called the Root Down. If you get there b4 10 there's a $5 cover charge, after that it's $10. So worth it! Old school hip hop, funk, and sometimes salsa permeate the dance floor. I'm not big on mainstream hip hop, so this spot is PERFECT for me. Our favorite bartender, Monica, makes the best drinks. She always makes sure that our drinks are perfect. Also, if she doesn't make it right, you just got yourself a free drink. WHO DOES THAT?!?!?! An awsome bartender that's who. I always get their Hawaiian Martini, but she has this specialty drink called the Sexy which is super sexy and super good. Plus this place has Red Stripe which is a rarity for most bar/clubs. This is a great place, so I highly recommend you check this place out.
