The club is THE most trendy place in Hollywood...as of now. I luckily went with a friend of the owner so going in was a breeze and the Dj's set was decent. Not the best place to go and have an all night dance party. Its decent. The topless woman everywhere is interesting i guess as tasteful as you can get it but wouldn't be a regular here. Negative - Long lines, hard to get in, loud music Positive - Chill environment inside

The food is nothing to write home about. But the water-front seating is great for brunch. I haven't been there at night, but I could see how this place is good for drinks with friends on the deck on a nice starry night.

I'm not the biggest fan of this place. But I do have to admit, the venue itself is actually pretty nice. There are bars located almost everywhere and the outside patio has a great view of Hollywood Blvd. minus the homeless people and the prostitutes. Even the upstairs "VIP" area or whatever it is, is pretty classy. Two stars for the venue itself. I guess at one point and time, Highlands use to be the spot, but now it's just another aging Hollywood club trying to cling onto its past reputation. Also, the bouncers are complete dickheads, especially the one that looks like MR. T. No surprise there right? At this moment, Asian nights are on Fridays, so beware, because who the hell wants to party with a bunch of Asians anyways? Creepy guys with yellow fever I guess? It's okay, I'm Asian, so I can hate. Another thing, if you happened to park in their parking structure, don't forget to get your parking ticket validated at the coat check.
