Threw a friend a surprise party here last night, and we had the best time! I've been to many karaokes in k-town, but usually in the company of Korean friends. But last night, accompanied by a bunch of non-Koreans, we ventured to Feel... a karaoke bar that I thought we'd try out based on rateclubs reviews. No regrets here :) The service was fantastic. I'd brought along an ice-cream cake that was totally melting, but the folks at the front desk kindly offered us their fridge. They lit all the candles on my friend's cake for us... and when the birthday girl arrived, they wheeled it in for us and even put on a karaoke birthday song! Really really nice people working here. With no Koreans in the bunch (well, not until later), I was afraid I'd feel intimidated... but not here! Only negative comment I have about this place is that the remote labeling is all in Korean. We struggled for a good five minutes but ultimately figured it out. We'll be back :)

Not sure what all the hype is...I think the majority of good reviews were for the dancing/dance club? Anyway, the food I had tasted horrible I think I ordered chicken of some sort. It was covered in this sauce that had the distinct flavor of charcoal. The plantains were good...but they are better next door at Triple CHA. My advice, go to Triple CHA and get the sangria and the plantains...you'll be happier.

5 or 6 guys at the door not letting anyone in. I walked up to the guy in a suit cause he looked like he was in charge. He asked "Don't I know you from somewhere?" My response is "I'm in from the West coast, I own restaurants and bars out there" Asked me who I was with and we were in the door. The place was packed at 1:30 on a Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Made our way to the bar and paid $11 for an absolut soda that might have had half an ounce. I even followed my rule of tipping big on the first drink so it cost me $15 with tip. Made sure I went back to the same bartender for drink number two and actually got a decent cocktail. The crowd wasn't too bad--young and good looking. I was told to go to Marquee on Tuesday because thats when the locals and industry folks make it out. I could imagine how much worse the place would be with a bunch of out of towners filling the place. 2 djs spinning. The music was alright--typical club stuff. Overall a decent place, but the attitude at the door and the ridiculous drink prices get Marquee a 3.
