I have been wanting to eat here for quite some time. Last night I finally got the chance! I had wanted to eat outside in their patio but unfortunately it's closed during weekdays, but the ambience inside was just fine with me. So the menu is in courses. you can choose 8, 10, or 12 courses I believe. Last night they had a chef's special 6 course for $40 bucks which is chosen for you and had: Ahi Tuna Tartare, XIV Caesar, Tai Snapper, Jidori Chicken, Wagyu Skirt Steak, Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. My boyfriend and I decided to do that chef special for $40 and then get one 8 course which is for $64 and we get to choose whatever we want. What I liked is that you can choose 8 appetizers, or 8 desserts, or 8 Entrees..etc. Usually in these types of course by course restaurants you can only choose ONE from each course (apetizer, entree, dessert) but here you can do it however YOU want. OK let me get to the review!! You know the food is good when as soon as you taste the food you say "mmmmm" and when it leaves you with "wow what was in that amazing taste!" In the 8 course we got the Sam's chopped salad, Salmon, TWO Lamb Chops, TWO Filet Mignons, Striped Bass, and the Tiramisu. The courses gave us time to chat, taste a VARIETY of different foods, and not SCARF down our foods like usually done in regular restaurants. The Skirt Steak, Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, Filet Mignon, Striped Bass, and the Tiramisu was out of this world!! It's pricey to eat here, but worth every penny! Hope to be back soon!

The fabulous Christopher took me here. Fun place in the Castro. Would probably have been an expensive night out but the drinks were covered. There were some pretty hot go-go dancers shaking in their skivvies Um Yum! So many hot gay men. *cries* Signing out ----- single woman in the city.

2 words to describe this place: "forced fun". Seriously, if you are not a person who brings the fun with you (and no, I'm not talking about the chemically induced kind either people), chances are, you will LOATHE this place. Now, I am not opposed to the stereotypical "big city clubs". You know the type that are the backdrop in a Hollywood movie or a tabloid story you read on dlisted or Perez Hilton or Page Six or wherever you get your fix. I actually had very kind things to say about their sister club, Ruby Skye. But still... I don't know what about this place brings out "the bad". Honestly, this place has a healthy amount of factors going for its success. Big crowd, stylish decor, choice location, an odd but passible soundtrack--there are other clubs in SF I can think of that have less going for them (small space, bad neighborhood, etc) that are more enjoyable than this place. Plus as you can see from other reviews, this place seems to bring out the worst in people, from crowd to staff. Attitude sadly doesn't have a coat check. Forced fun is an oxymoron, I think. This place = not fun, I know.
