by Kembirley H. on I have loved JR Crickets for the almost 10 years I've lived in ATL. The wings are undeniably the best I've found here. HOWEVER, this past weekend I was appalled to learn that this Crickets location no longer serves ice water! They only have $2 bottled water. Are you kidding me?! At a hot wings joint?! We resisted the urge to leave with this news, but to make matters worse they don't have my favorite wings and shrimp combo. This was too much. I'll never visit this location again. Hoping that the other locations don't follow this ridiculous rule!
by Ziv K. on This is one of my favorite Austin burger joints - and I agree with the other reviewers on the fries and shakes/malts. Brown bag it, or enjoy the "old school" atmosphere - you will NOT be disappointed burger-wise.
by Shani Beales on I have to comment on the catfish. There aren't many places intown (at least that I know of) to get good fried catfish. Thanks, Six Feet Under! The hushpuppies are great too. The view is nice too. I guess the folks in Midtown are missing out on the cemetery effect. I withheld one star because of the poor parking situation and the ever present crowds (shows how popular the place is.) Anyway, I hope when they move to the next block, they retain the same vibe.
