by Christine Y. on Mmm yeah, Cafe Du Nord is an awesome venue for shows. The small, intimate setting makes for a fantastic night! I saw one of my favorite, favorite artists here last night - Angus and Julia Stone ....AMAZING! I was ecstatic when I heard they were going to play at CDN. It's a relaxed setting where you can hang by the bar in the back while the show's going on up front (if you don't care too much for the opening band, haha) They serve up food, too - their burger and fries rock! It took longer that I would like to actually get the food, but ...they've got Murphy's on tap so it's all good! YUM!! The only irritating part of the night was when we went to close our tabs, and they're credit card thing went down - so we had to resort to the ATM and the unnecessary service fees. ughh... oh well, great beer, good food, awesome band. I like it!
