by Emmie M. on This place was phenomenal in terms of accommodating our group! My friend turned 21, sent in a guest list, and Aggelos took care of the rest. We got there a little after 11 but didn't have to pay cover. We were given our own area in the lounge, with a table and easy access to drinks. I noticed people don't dance in there as much as other clubs, but probably cause Saint is a lounge too? Not sure but everyone loosened up later on. Coat check was only $1 and we spilled a couple things throughout the night but the employees didn't complain or anything. The music was pretty good, but you should stand near the speakers if you really wanna dance cause the sound isn't blasting like other clubs. Aggelos even took care of my friend when she was done for the night, gave us some water, and was completely understanding and friendly the whole time. Overall - great experience and I'd recommend this place to others.
by Anne W. on Talking specifically about Sundays Are a Drag: Who doesn't love the classic combo of Sunday brunch plus drag queens? Great fun, done well. And the food's surprisingly good. The other surprise was how many big groups of retirees were here for the drag show. Hmm. So I wouldn't call this edgy, but would absolutely recommend it as one of those "only in SF" things, especially if you want to impress out-of-town guests.
