by Alvera Wroten on I liked the all day Sunday Happy hour. The sushi was good to boot. Nice atmosphere and a full bar. The Cajun roll with fried oysters was a nice change to the typical tempera rolls. I'll be back.
by Alethia Devenuto on I've been here multiple times and I feel like this place isn't worth driving so far from San Jose to go to. The decor is nice and I haven't tried the food. I've only gone here after hours. They have 2 rooms normally 1 is for hip hop and the other is for house music. Most recent visit sucked! Major cock fest... sorry that just means a lot of dudes. the ration was about 4-1. Your butt gets grabbed everywhere you walk. The DJ played mostly house music and they went cheap by only having 1 DJ. Staff is very unfriendly. Bouncers are very rude. I think they think the more mean they are the more control they have over crowds. But everything still seems to be the same. Packed lines and a packed entry.

A few months ago, I threw $40 to cut in line, and another $25 to get in, for no other reason than to hang out with a friend who wanted to see Se7en perform. Expensive watered down drinks, ridiculous crowd of gushing girls, and getting castrated in the process. Highlands, I thought, never again. So, Saturday night had low expectations. Okay, I lie. We got guestlist (the "real" guest list where the only charge is flashing your ID) and an open vodka bar on the 5th floor terrace til 10pm. It's a pretty posh area to chill, relax, dance if you want and grab a drink. I enjoy just being outdoors with the usual stuffiness of clubs. We all slammed at least seven various concoctions of vodka-something in 30 minutes and swaggered down to the outdoor patio. Here we were, five guys looking so money Vince Vaughn would've been proud to stand amongst us, peering into a sea of babies. Literally, over a hundred girls, all in their little groups chatting amongst each other. Heads turned our way with auspicious glances being fired at us like we were about to walk down the catwalk with eyes that were unmistakeably undressing us. One group quickly nabbed us up, took pictures, before we got bounced around, fondled, groped, and abused. Oh the abuse... Headed to the dance floor, ran into an old college friend and she hooked me up with her girlfriend visiting from out of town. It's nights like these that make you feel like more of a stud than you really are.
