by Crysta Piccard on The ESSR is hands down my absolute favorite bar in Austin. The cocktails are swanky. The food is seasonal/local/organic/omfgdelicious. The music is hot. The decor is warm, inviting and nostalgic. My friends and I adore getting dressed to the nines and heading over there to swill negronis, scotch and champagne and shake a shoe or two. The carpaccio, tartare, and chocolate orange layered crepe dessert are heaven. Oh, and anything lamb or rabbit that they touch turns to gold.
by Evangeline Tea on You don't have brunch at Lime for the food. The food is average. I had the eggs benedict and cobb salad and it was good, but nothing spectacular. You do have brunch at Lime to get wasted before noon with their bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. They play great dancing music loudly so its like you never left the club from the night before. After your third bloody mary, don't be afraid to start dancing in your seat and feast on some eye candy. It's such a fun place for bunch! Shout out to the best waitress ever, Laila (sp?) who kept our glasses constantly full with drank.
by Frankie B. on Holy shit. I went to a birthday party there last night, and I can say without a doubt this is the Capital City of Doucheland. Holy shit again. The sad sight of ex-frat dudes, balding and hitting on chicks was depressing to say the least. The girls looked like their crowning achievement was being on Girls Gone Wild. 20 pounds ago. The bartenders were all guys, doing flair bartending. I mean, seriously?? Flair?? Who even does that?? The only sort of good part of the entire evening was that I did a shot of Jameson that went down wrong, and came back up. So, yeah.... this place LITERALLY made me puke. And I rarely puke. But at least I got to leave my dinner behind for the kind folks at Busby's.
by Robert R. Jackson on It sucked, too many unclassy people. there were bugs, yes, insects in drinks, and it was dirty and smelly. I would stick to the Hollywood clubs. This was a ghetto club in a ghetto neighborhood for ghetto people.

We saw the dancers, karaoke, old dance music room with people eating dinner by the computers.....Did we miss anything else?? Sometimes I like to have a cigarette with my drink but this was nice because my cloths didn't smell whan I got back to my room. I have been to clubs in Atlanta and DC and this place is way bigggg! The crowd is also so mellow, none of that LA attitude I hear about. I been thinking about the place all day at work just cant get it out of my head.
