by Hailey Lattanzi on I liked the all day Sunday Happy hour. The sushi was good to boot. Nice atmosphere and a full bar. The Cajun roll with fried oysters was a nice change to the typical tempera rolls. I'll be back.
by Nicola Mandap on It's located in a shady part of SOMA, the entrance is in an alley, and the set up is okay. I only really liked how they have an upstairs and you're free to walk up and down (and not just sectioned up for VIP). Being upstairs gives you a nice aerial view of the dance floor and whatever DJ is spinning. There are two main bars and drinks aren't terribly expensive - another plus. We checked out the smoke patio outside, was hit by a wave of hot smoky air, took a breath and choked and so went back inside. I'm not a smoker so go figure... Overall, the Mezz is a decent place for a concert. Cool lights, lasers, and no real dress code it seems. Coat check $2/item.
by J K. on By far my favorite hotel in LA!!! I love it here! I stayed in the poolside cabanas. The minimalist decor of the rooms were sleek and sophisticated; I loved it! The bed was extremely comfortable, bathrooms are nice, and the staff was fantastic! If you ask the housekeeper for more water, they will hook it up which is great for the next morning hangover. The little Voss waters are so cute. I like staying here bc I you can walk to the clubs and restaurants or cab it. The pool is fun; as for the nightlife, I enjoy the other clubs off of Hollywood Blvd vs the Tropicana Bar. Fun hotel!!!
