yes! finally a place in philly that does sushi justice. i recommend nothing short of the omakase (chef's tasting menu) here. why come to an iron chef restaurant and not get the chef's special?? i love splurging on a fantastic sushi meal, but knowing that i'm a student and on a budget, i recommend coming for lunch omakase. there's the option for $60/person omakase compared to the $80 or $120/person for dinner. and it still left me feeling (surprisingly) super full. i forget exactly what each dish was called, but my date got the $80 omakase and had 6 dishes. i got the $60 omakase and got 4 dishes. not that it mattered because we shared everything. here's a sampling of what we got between the two of us: -yellowtail -bluefin tuna -red snapper -tuna tartare -amber jack sashimi -rock shrimp -chilean sea bass -nigiri sushi assortment -ice cream+chocolate fudge cake *see uploaded pictures for tantalizing goodness. of course, since presentation counts for 50%, each dish comes out gorgeously. and definitely not what you'd expect when you read the above list. have a look-see. just don't blame me if it leaves you feeling hungry. note on the ambiance: the interior is ultra chic and contemporary. but what else do you expect of a place like this with a chef as renowned as chef morimoto? upstairs bar area looked like the place to be if i was hip and young and dripping in cash. totally pretentious, but it's ok because the food is awesome. and the cocktails rock. definitely not watered down. i'll be back to try the sake omakase for dinner one day. love sake! $85/person, i'm sold.

Circle is for F.O.B korean guys/girls who wants to party like as if they were in Korea. They are friggin losers, guys only go there to get hammered and pick up busted ass chicks although they do get many slutty ones in there. I'm a young fly, flash mofo and I wouldn't go there even if they paid me. I know the owners, ex club promoters and they are in there STRICTLY to allow Korean to have fun. If you're non korean don't bother. Club is wack, guys are bunch of losers hung up on getting girls drunk so they can rape them and girls are no bueno either. I was there one time after an invite and this place is WACK to the MAX. Don't go there if you're not a Korean. If you are one of those FOB's then this is the place. They play Kpop and waiter service is like as if you were in Korea. It is good if you like that but I don't so enough said. Go to Meatpacking instead if you're looking for a good time. Mid-town is place for first time NJ clubers who wants to come to NYC and rookies. Meatpacking and Lower west and east is hot spots now. Forget Circle, only if you're a fresh off the boat Korean then go.

Like the stars say WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ! ! This is a TRUE underground spot! The DJ's are AMAZING. The beers are cheap! The SCENE unrealistic- which is a cool thing (you can find anybody here). I've seen some awesome acts here and attended some great parties at this venue. The one that sticks out of my mind this year was the party with Questlove (the drummer from the Roots) he dj'ed the entire night (until the lights came on, heckkkkkk yeahhhhhh) AMAZING! MJQ, is definitely the place to have a great time. YOU will surely break a sweat on the dance floor and meet some wonderful people. MJQ, the place to BE!
