by Margareta Goodhart on The menu was interesting if you like appetizers but the flavor was bland. I have visited on 2 occasions and avoid the downstairs (noisy, cramped, cafeteria like). The upstairs area is nice but the seating (we had a booth) is kind of shabby. My experience is similar to others, the people who work here must hate their job because they are terrible. We ended up being helped by a person that said this was not his area but thank goodness he was working upstairs or we would not have had any service (refills, desert order, the check, etc.) because our waitress kept disappearing into the back.
by Ming Banbury on am not into this kind of music(more into hip-hop/spanish) but its soo loud it makes you want to dance anyways.the place is nice and the people arent too bad.my bf knows someone that works there so thats an extra plus.luckily for us we never wait in line
by Rosa K. on Kress was not bad at all! Well, maybe it's because I didn't have to pay for cover. I was quite pleased because there was free sushi going around (not bad, by the way), and the ambiance was good. We were at the 3rd floor, then went to the basement to dance.. i was reluctant going to the "BASEMENT" to dance because i have had awful clubbing experiences in basements of clubs with low ceilings and no ventilation, but this place was quite nice! well ventilated, higher ceilings, and THEY PLAYED SOME HOUSE MUSIC! I really had no problem with this place other than their SUPER EARLY CLOSING TIME (2AM) and the lack of restrooms. LA really needs to learn that 2AM is when the party gets started, not when it ends. :(
