Trendy but food was lacking. Two stars always means I'd only go back if someone else is paying or forced. Average at best. Good for people in suburbs that don't get out much. Go to Raw for better food.

We went here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon after going to the High. I love the atmosphere--looks like it used to be an old house that has been converted into a restaurant.. They have a great patio and the architecture is beautiful--old fireplace, old wood floors, old windows with the super Southern charm feel. The biscuits and cornbread are delicious and my husband loved his eggs benedict. The fried chix is good as well. The pork sandwich was a little bit too sweet for me. Bloody Marys are good. The only thing about the location is that portion of Crescent Ave. always has a strange sewage smell...All in all, good Southern food (not too heavy or sloppy either) in a charming little house.

Once you get inside, the club's pretty nice. There are two big dance floors one upstairs, and one down. There's back patio that's perfect for talking and having a smoke, and table service is is great--the servers are fast and attentive. But waiting in line for this place is a nightmare. Outside, it smells like piss. There are heaps of garbage along the streets. And social panhandlers do their best to spark conversation with you. Not the way I like to start out my nights. There are a lot of nicer clubs out there that don't make you feel like you're stepping into the armpit of the city. On a completely random note, the first night I came to this joint, Barry Bonds was there, chatting it up with who I take it to be one of the owners. Go figure.
