by Meta Ozolins on I love El Rio, and it loves me back :) The patio is awesome for summer dance parties and I'm usually pretty happy with the music (and I can be picky!) Its a sweet spot with nice people and cheap beer.
by Akilah Avans on After leaving Mezzanine to come here I really wanted to go back to Mezzanine. Maybe because its the 4th of July weekend that no one is out, or I don't know, some other reason why people wouldn't be at a club on a Friday night? Anyway, walking in the decor is really nice, but no one was there! Or at least no one was in the room upstairs (which you would think is the main room). We went downstairs and that's where more people were. There was a white room that reminded me of the upper room (with no one in it) and a darker room which was playing strictly Top 40 music. It was fun because it was like an underground party, but it felt kind of lame at the same time because it was like an underground party. I think you can easily get lost/loose friends if you're drunk here because of the confusing layout.
by Miar R. on Great bartenders, very friendly. Awesome atmosphere. Cool door, good DJ. Only bad thing is there is nowhere else to really go in the area so you have to stay here the entire night but that wasn't a problem because I was in love and had a blast. great time!
