by Lily A. on I'll give Ruby Skye 2 whole stars! Reason for stars: Guy in the front handling the coat check had the tallest Pauly D stacked hair! He was awesomesauce, that's a whole lotta hairspray. He gets one star. The bartender serves some strong drinks. That gets the other star. Super strong shots: http://www.rateclubs.com/us... I liked the venue itself. I loved the structure, the very high ceilings kept the place cool. Also they had some cool entertainment, dancers in unique outfits and even a "cirque-du-soleil" type performance.This gets the third star. Reasons why I didn't give more stars: We went on a rainy Saturday night. The line was super long. But you must realize there are two lines, general admission and a long ass guestlist line. We quickly hopped to the GA line and paid $20 to get in. The music was a strong pump fisting techno dance music all night. After awhile I got sick of the music and wanted some variety. But I'd have to say, the music was LOUD...chest pounding loud. The crowd was a very mixed group. However guys were agressive and wouldn't leave you alone. Some guy kept on bumping my ass and then picked me up. I do not like to be picked up, especially by strangers. There goes my buzz and I'm back to sober Lily.
by Lazaro Stolinski on the food is alright here. i actually like the one on 2nd st and market better. it was reallly crowded when i went to this one and it was soo impossible to find parking. We wen to on a sat night so it was definitely horrible to do anything there. The wait was a bit long and they suggested to chill at their bar usptairs, but that was hella crowded too...so i would say 2nd and market better :)
by Seve' M. on Heeeeeeey I know you. We had a bit of fun together. I was inside you for a friend's bday party. We had a good time. It was a friday night I think. You weren't as pretty as I thought you'd be. I mean I can't remember where I saw your picture online but I was expecting something a lil'more dolled up..more fancy i guess. There were no seats though which i thought was weird....I dunno, maybe I was in the wrong place but I thought it was you. Regardless, you were very spacious. I can't remember what drinks you served which means it wasn't anything to praise or complain about. I may come back to you at some point in the future but I can't make any promises...we may just have to leave this as what it was: a one night stand.
