I love love love this place, I never get tired of going here. Great food, especially the sushi. Go before 9 so u won't have a cover, and dance the night away. Love the crowd, always fun, a good mix of people and music! great service!

Visited Atlanta for a wedding and only had one weekend to eat our hearts out. Dinner courtesty of rateclubs's raving reviews. Fried Green Tomatoes: Yum! Fried perfectly. Normally hubs is not a fan of sliced tomatoes but the crunchiness of the breading coupled with the sauce was a great combo. Sautéed Shrimp & Scallops: Yum! I'm a huge fan of grits and these were very tasty (albeit a tad salty for my taste) Buttermilk Fried Chicken: We came here specifically because of this dish. Hubs LOVED it. I think Hubs got the Mac N Cheese and if I remember correctly he enjoyed it. This restaurant is a nice place for dinner and would make a great date night.

I would say that we need more places like Star Bar in Atlanta, but then that would be impossible. It can't be duplicated, replicated, imitated, or even explicated.... If you've never been, start with a Tuesday night and get your funk on...or just cruise their schedule on the web and pick a band out that sounds interesting. Hell, pick out one that sounds horrible and you'll still have an entertaining time. Cheap beer, good times, and it makes no apologies for being a smoky dive that showcases unique live acts. Long live Star Bar.
