GREAT sushi with tons of options, awesome pricing, and a variety of drinks! Great happy hour specials during the week with reverse happy hour 10-1:30 on the weekends, and happy hour all day Sunday!

When you walk up the stairs, past the Shiner bottle chandelier in the entranceway, you come up into a space on the second floor that feels like there should be sawdust on the floor. Phenomenal place if you're in Austin! Great selection of beer, several varietals of Shiner on tap. Great staff, super reasonable prices. We are from Chicago and decided to hit as many joints as possible in town and this is one of the best! We actually ended up going back at the end of the night for some food. I love the fact that you can brisket on just about anything. Not to be missed! Check it out if you're in town!

This place is absolutely beautiful and great acts come through here. However - my most recent venture to this place made me realize the venue's greatest downfall: there's nowhere to sit! Granted, I almost never sit at these types of concerts anyway because they're set up for everyone to stand for general admission. But, the last time I was there, I got really dizzy in the middle of the show and had to get out of the crowd before I fainted, which would have been ugly. I went outside for some air, and when I felt better, I went back inside and thought it would be a good idea to sit down for a second - and this is when I found that there was no option to do so. No bench, no random set of chairs set up somewhere, anywhere, for someone to take a load off if they're sick or hurt or something. The only seating area exists upstairs, and you have to buy dinner tickets ahead of time to take advantage of that. I tried to sit on the floor, out of the way of the crowd, and was promptly asked to stand up by a security guard (who was very nice about it). I spent the rest of the night with a sore back and a fuzzy head as I attempted toe enjoy the remainder of the show. Also, on another note, the stage is WAY too low. You really can't see shit, even if you're relatively tall like me, unless you were lucky enough to get right up next to the stage. I say: "meh." UPDATE: So, apparently, you can sit upstairs even if you didn't purchase dinner tickets. That changes things. I really like this venue, although I do truly wish that the stage was just a little bit higher. It would make a huge difference.
