Cotton candy, toys, great fun staff, party hats, balloons! Fun house mirrors, confetti, weird circus themed decor. Love love loved it! Like some others have said, I agree that this place is great every once in a while for birthdays and other special occasions. I won a teddy bear! My friend left the place with a goldfish in a corona bottle in his jacket pocket. sounds like a fun night. We went to marquee afterward. I was so attached to my prize, I walked into a club with a teddybear. and even checked it in at coat check! I will be returning whenever I am tired of just standing around and drinking. I think its an adorable place to take a date. although I am not sure what its like on other nights, because they seem pretty tight on lists. only downside, the popcorn didn't have butter :( if you're very young at heart like I am, and like to play around and get bored with the grown up social scene, this is a nice break. instead of guys trying to pick you up by asking if you want a drink, they ask if you want to play a game with them. its refreshing to get to meet people and have something to do and not having to scream into their ears.

This place was SO MUCH FUN. At first I wasn't sure about the mash-ups but once I got used to it I fell in love. This place does need better ventilation though considering they pack in a billion people who end up sweating balls for hours on end. I wasn't too sure about the "burlesque show" that went on the night I was there. I am all for a good show and as a straight women I can really appreciate a girl that has the guts to go up on stage and show her goodies and bits but it just felt really low class and creepy. I watched for a few minutes and then it became painful so I ventured into the top room where there was more electronic music playing and many cool people to dance around with. I would definitely come back to Bootie next time I am in SF!
