by Mason Lembo on im sure the edison really doesnt need any more reviews. but here i go anyway. this is one of the classiest lounges in LA! the southern california edison is one of our major clients at my work so we always get free drinks here, which is awesome! but for those who obviously have to pay..drinks are a bit pricey at $13-$15 but theyre pretty stiff so you get your money's worth. i definitely recommend the pomegranate mojito. its delicious =) just a great place to go out and use as an excuse to dress up and have fun. the crowd was a little bit older than i'm used to. but overall a fun lounge with cool decor since they tried to keep that look of an old electric company, which looks a lot cooler than it sounds haha.

by Burton Strothman on I used to go there almost every Tuesday night in 2002 with a girl I really liked. The reason? "The Steve and Carmen show" played there every Tuesday. They are a swingin' bluesy duet featuring Steve Lucky and Miss Carmen Getit. Cover was only $5 at the time, so she would dress up in her best vintage clothes, and I would show up in something half-respectable. We'd have some drinks, share some nice dances and occasionally order some biscuits and yam fries. There we were, a beautiful blonde co-ed from San Diego and a tall local Asian guy, drinking and dancing it up. Tuesday night used to be my favorite night of the week, thanks to Biscuits and Blues and the girl I'll never forget. Ah, the memories!
