by Natalie E. on DO NOT GO TO HWOOD!! One of the most stupid places ever in Hollywood. We went on a saturday night for my friends birthday. The bouncers were RUDE and were on a power trip. You would think its a crowded place...but it was DEAD...and the people there were wierd. Not your typical hollywood club/lounge scene. The bartenders were stupid and rude. Looks like they dont really need you to have much personality to hire you there. I have no idea how this place is in business, but im sure its not going to be long before they shut down. Oh and their drinks SUCK!! Overpriced and watered down
by Sydney Ritthaler on I went on my 21st bday night! I had an awesome time! Got in for free with complimentary drinks! Plus the guys were sooo nice! The music was banging as shit!! Francios K is genuis on the turn tables! It was not too crowded, everyone came to dance and hear some great mash ups! no table service that night - which was a monday! The door people were mad cool! The sound system was great! Dubstep is where its at!
by Lane Archilla on I hit up Flip last tuesday. I've been watching the place with some interest while it was under construction. (I'm always excited about good looking places opening up around where I live on the west side). Flip is very close to the Social House. I have to say, Flip has outstanding decor and a really cool vibe. Loved the framed mirrors, and what looked like really comfy booths. Our bartender (Promise) was very friendly and attentive. My friend ordered the Lamb burger and I got the special, the cuban pork belly burger. Both were pretty good. The burgers are a wee bit on the small side, but thats ok, cause the burger combined with an order of fries or a shake are more than enough to fill you up. Next time, I intend to try one of the shakes and the rutabaga. I also want to try the foie gras burger. Definitely a welcome addition to the Westside dining landscape. Good job, Richard Blais.
