by erica s. on the word horrible is too good of a word for this place. was forced to go here because of a birthday. we got there at 10. there were about 10 people in line, so i went to the front to tell the bouncers that we were here for a bday and were on the list. the bouncer (aka loser from your hs who is still a loser now, but thinks he's cool because he works at a douchy club), preceded to try to get in a fight with me by saying " i looked like i was in a bad mood, etc." sorry dude, i dont have anger management problems, so im not getting in a fight with you, im ignoring you. he continued, trying to rile me up so that he could say he wasnt letting my friends or me in. he finally stopped, then made me get back in line and then let us in. ps- this isnt "your club" douchy bouncer man. this is just one of your 4 jobs because you arent talented enough to get any acting gigs. anyway, inside the girls were gross, the guys were gross, and one bar charged more than another for the same drink. i would give this place no stars if rateclubs would let me. reminded me why i hate hollywood.
by Keisha Hostin on I went here my first time in NYC. Drinks basically really expensive but strong. Dance floor small but good enough for swaying back and forth to house music. The seating up against the wall was awkward and you had to hold yourself up on it. I wanted to rest my feet? It sounds like I'm complaining but it wasn't that bad. Hot, rich guys everywhere!
by Michele Lunderman on Went here on my anniversary dinner with the bf. We had the grilled squid and the fried goat cheese. Both were good. The goat cheese was definitely something to experience. He didn't like it so much, thought the combination was weird. For main courses, he ordered the lamb burger and I got the chicken. He enjoyed the lamb burger but it didn't look "pretty" to me nor as filling as my dish. My chicken was pretty good and it took me twice the time of my boyfriend to finish it. I cleaned it to the bone. For dessert, I had the olive oil cake and he had the bread pudding. My oilive oil cake, ironically, was somewhat dry. I had to mix the ice cream it came with into it so I wouldn't choke. My bf enjoyed the bread pudding. It was ok, but I'm not a big fan of bread pudding. The waiter was very nice. Good service. He gave us some suggestions and made some small talk which a lot of people don't do nowadays. Ambience? I was a bit thrown off by how casually dressed people were there. We were "dressy" as listed on this rateclubs page, but you can definitely come in jeans. The lighting was atrocious. I guess they wanted it to be romantic~ but the only thing we had for lighting at our table was a tiny candle flickering at the center of our table. Very bad if you're like me and want to take pictures of every single dish that sit on the table (pictures are uploaded to rateclubs). All in all, it was a good experience, but not something that stood out.
