I really like this place. A LOT. I really want it to succeed. The decor and music is a bit "club"-like but the food and drink menu is amazing. Real nice change of pace from all the Asian food in the neighborhood. They have an extensive beer and wine menu with a lot of beers on tap. I've had their meatballs, chop cobb salad, pasta, ravioli of the day, soup, etc. On average, 9/10 items have been great. And, considering this place just opened a few weeks ago, that is pretty amazing. I really hope they figure out a way to promote this place better because nobody has seemed to realize that it is even there. They should take the tinting off the windows because it is in a kind of hidden location and it's hard to tell that it is a nice restaurant instead of nightclub.

Always have been interested in TAO after the SATC episode about it. After reading the many positive reviews - I couldn't help but be even more interested. I've been here twice now - and each time, it was amazing food. I went there for a bachelorette party - and I had made the reservations MONTHS before. AND I had high expectations. So to get there - and to be asked to wait FOREVER was annoying as all heck. After I talked to the host - our party was seated way quicker. Our meal was delicious. Everything from the vegetables to the dessert (we were given the ENTIRE DESSERT MENU as a result of the long wait), to the chicken dishes my friends tried - to the fish dishes they ate - was all too good. I recommend going here. It's a MUST TRY!

We had a pretty lame time here. Very over-priced and over-crowded. Poorly designed tourist trap. They do have a couple of animals worth seeing - some big rays, beluga whales, whale sharks, etc but it's not worth $27 bucks - let alone that they try to stick it to you every 5 feet with photos, trinkets and crappy pizza for sale. A 1 star establishment with some 3 star animals . . . makes a 2 star experience (I guess).
