For the novice salsa dancer, this place is a bit intimidating. You've heard of the phrase "Bring your dancing shoes", right...well this place take that to a whole nother level! The girls seriously walked with a separate little shoe bag for their Latin ballroom shoes. They even sell dancing shoes in the front lobby. Granted, they have a sign up front and strictly enforce the "no lifts, no dips" rule, everyone there was all partnered up and knew what they were doing. Not too many single groups. $12 before 11pm. I'd go back only if I had a dance partner and after I took a few more lessons.

Went to a heat game, and decided to come here for dinner. What a huge mistake.... Have you ever been in a restaurant where the hostess and all the waiters look like they do not want to be there. To start it took forever for a waiter to come over and get our drink order. Keep in mind they were not very busy. It was about 8 p.m. When the waiter came over and dropped off our drinks, he stood there just looking at us not saying a word......like a deer caught in headlights..... I said "Are you ready to take our order" and he never spoke just nodded. HHHMMMM......I should have left then.... So the food comes out about twenty minutes later...... Ropa Vieja- was ice cold.... so it took me another fifteen minutes to get someone's attention. When I told them it was ice cold they just shrugged and said ok, I will get them to fix and walked away. My husband had finished his meal obviously before my meal ever returned. Needless to say, after one bite and realizing how AWFUL it was, and afraid of what they might have done to it, we paid our bill and left. The staff all seemed like we were bothering them, because they just wanted to ahhhh guess stand around and give free drinks to their favorite guest and rip off poor Gloria.....saw way to many crooked things going on here..... Terrible service, terrible food, to bad, it is really a pretty place....... Get new management and a whole new staff, then maybe this could become something....

Very small venue. I think the plus I'd give it right now is the crowd was diverse (compared to the Thurs night prior where I went to WET in SJ). The DJ was not doing it for me. It was alright. They had a cool room in the back where I think it would be fun to chill with some girls, but it was equally small with no room to dance around. SO.. sorry.. 2 stars.
