by Fred F. on Amazing venue. Great club. Great decor as with all Syndicate clubs. Staff is great. The velvet rope is tight, but isn't that what you want with a new club in Hollywood ? If you are looking to just waltz right in, you are in for a disappointment. But if you want a lively, hip, fun time this is the place to be. I'm glad they have certain standards, the last thing I want to hang out with a bunch of affliction wearing Jersey Shore types. If you want the bestof Hollywood this is it. by Michael J. on Iguana is a nice place to go for Latin music. Met up with friends for my girlfriends bday on a nice saterday night after kareaoke. $15 dollar cover charge but really worth it. Nice crowd and two dance floors to show your stuff. I liked their drink selection. I was type drink but if I recall they have 25 different margaritas or is it mojitos? Don't remember as i was wasted. I do remember drinking a kiwi drink that was good aswell as a cinnamon drink. They were both very good. The night overall was a great sucess. If you want to dance the night away to salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton in midtown, hit Cafe Iguanas. You won't be dissapointec. I was so drunk when I wrote this. lol
by Todd Partis on I love the Great American Music Hall and it's one of my favorite places for a live show. The venue is stunning and if you need some additional visual stimulation during a performance, there are so many ornate architectural details to enjoy. Everyone working there seems to be happy and you can often get tickets at the door for a sold out show. Last night we enjoyed an awesome performance by Ingrid Michaelson and it was 99% perfect. Much to her chagrin, the fans/air conditioning started blasting above her head during her performance and the loud blasts of air were a bit distracting. Other than that, no complaints and if you need some late night adult entertainment afterwards, Mitchell Brothers is right next door.
