We got to the restaurant and there was a pub crawl taking place that did not let the restaurant know they were coming by - all 100+ of them!! The staff did a great job dealing w/ everyone jam packed and being quite loud. They were apologetic and went out of there way to take care of us. They soon dispersed and everything calmed down. Kalin (sp?) was our server and obviously was a professional in her service, attitude and knowledge. Bon our bus brother and the bald guy up front - very professional - i'm bald too so it's okay. We started with 3 dozen oysters (3 diff kinds) on the happy hour price, excellent cocktails and then shared entrees - Halibut recommended by Kalin, Salmon, and the Risotto - all excellent. This place went from a college bar to a delicious 4 star experience. Oh - and no corkage fee.

The interior is very trendy; evocative of Vegas even. The service was prompt and friendly. The portions were generous, but the prices were a little high. You can't beat the location! Eating lunch at the Continental, sitting in one of their comfy booths and watching the people go by after a long day of shopping is a great experience. They have a great, innovative menu. The miso soup is delicious and the bowls are enormous! I loved their Nuttella toast and my boyfriend raved about his burger. I tried their Asian Chicken Salad and was in heaven. All the greens were fresh and crisp, the chicken perfectly tender. Plenty of leftovers!
