Pros: Great food. Cannoli French Toast was delicious, the perfect sweet breakfast treat wo/being over the top. Sausage fritata was delicious as were the rest of the entrees my friends got. The rancheros looked really delicious & worth a return visit. No wait. We arrived about 10ish on a rainy sunday morning. Instantly seated! It was full but the space is designed well so even after more & more diners arrived & were waiting it never seemed like we were packed in. Cons: Cash only. Really? Why? The restaurant is clearly successful, with a high turnover volume & makes money. So rather than the owners paying the credit card company a fee...they would rather inconvenience their customers? Yes, there is an ATM in the restaurant-it charges a $1.50 & is a big pain in the butt. Rude service. It started off fine. Quickly seated & promptly given menus, water & coffee. But after we ordered it went down hill. Or more accurately, the rudeness & nonchalant attitude of our server became apparent. We asked if the french toast could come out first as an "appetizer". We were all curious about it & wanted a little something sweet before our savory entrees. The server said no, we can't do that...it will come out with all the other entrees. We were slightly put off by this...it didn't seem that out of the ordinary or pain in the butt request. Coffee refills took forever. The server gave us a snotty response when we unknowingly tried to pay with a credit card. Conclusion: I don't understand the correlation between hipsters & bad service. Its so cliche. Who wants to be treated like crap first thing in the morning on her day off? Generally it leaves a bad taste in mouth & I won't return. But the food was that good, I'll give it another shot in the future before writing Cafe Lift off. To be continued...

Can't believe some of the reviews here. First - Ruby Skye is an electronic dance music venue (house, trance, electro). If that's not your style then go somewhere else and keep your negative comments out of rateclub. Second - This was rated the #2 club in the US by the renowned DJ Mag top 100. #25 club in the world.... (Should I continue?) Third - People are people, some are douchey, some are kooky, some are different, but we are all people. The crowd at Ruby has every sort of individual (we call this diversity). I wear boat shoes, jeans, and a T-shirt here. While others where a dress shirt and slacks. While other men wear their sisters pants, bracelets, and sunglasses. Whatever, right? This is cool because no matter what type you are you are welcome (within reason) and everyone is there to have a good time. Fourth - If you are into edm (electronic dance music) then you will find the BEST DJs in the world at this club including but not limited to: Armin Van Buuren, Deadmau5, Tiesto, David Guetta, Markus Shculz, Laidback Luke, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyke, etc. Ruby Skye is the NUMBER 2 club in the US...... 3 stars? What a mockery. 2 thumbs up, 5 star club all the way.

The upstairs can get extremely packed and there is barely enough room to move. We had table service, but that didn't mean much because the barriers to section us off kept getting knocked over by random people walking by and eventually we just had to deal with people hovering around our table. The music is good and the crowd is always fun, it's more a mature crowd. One thing that was annoying was having to wait for what felt like an eternity to get served at the bar upstairs.
