by Lara O. on Nick's Crispy Taco is a sorry excuse for Mexican food. It's barely a step above Chevy's. I ordered a carne asade quesadilla and my friend ordered chicken tacos. Both of us agreed they were bland. To add insult to injury, the "hot" sauce was mild at best. I know that this place is frequented by a bunch of WASPs, but some of us expect our hot sauce to be hot. On top of boring food, you have to fight to find a seat. Ugh. The only good thing about this place is the hilarious, upbeat cashier.
by Jacques Schepker on Love the physical place--the patio is kicking! The bartenders are awesome! The music on the other hand often sucks in my opinion--just the worst, most un-danceable house music. The only thing that keeps me away is the music.
by Refugio Flagler on The Starlight Room has always been my favorite SF club. The crowd is usually a more mature bunch and the bar is great. The music selection depends on the night but you can holla at the DJ to play whatever you usually want - Hip hop and rock merge together here, so YAY :) The view over San Francisco is amazing and really sets the club apart from a lot of basement type venues SF has become famous for. I hated the elevator you have to take to get to the club, but once you've made the trip you realize it was worth the wait and clubbing up with the stars is awesome!
