this club is on the top of my list. the vibe here is free and fun. there is no drama and the crowd just wants to dance. there are many well known house dj's that visit king king to perform on a regular basis. check out their web page and calender to catch your favorites. anyone who is into dance music needs to check out this club, you will have a good time.

I happened to be in town for a business trip. My husband was able to join, so we decided to make an effort to try out Moriomoto. We're big fans of Japanese cuisine, so we had very high expectations. The decor was nice - very trendy and modern. We started off with the yellowtail tartare as an appetizer. We were not disappointed. The pairing of the wasabi with each bite of the tartare (per the chef's suggestion) was a wonderful treat! The fish was fresh, served on an ice cold platter. Next was the kobe beef carpaccio. This was also a hit. The beef was tender and full of flavor, without being overpowering. We also tried the raw oysters, salmon sashimi (our personal favorite, wherever we go), several rolls and the chocolate custard dessert. All in all, it was a satisfying meal. Our bill came out to be just under $200. Although the portions were not exactly hearty, we left full and pleased. This was a bit of a splurge, but definitely a good experience! Highly recommended.

Luckily, a well-prepared member of our party already reserved us a table so we were able bypass the hassle at the door. The space itself is pretty small, although the "runway" in the middle of the dance floor is quiet creative (yours truly "busted a move" on there a few times during the night :) To the delight of the males in our group, the staff consisted mostly of young attractive ladies dressed in skimpy costumes: the "bottle service" (yes, the trend has spread to Boston) girls were dressed in Playboy bunny outfits (minus the ears and tail) and the three dancers on stage were attired in leather dominatrix-like outfits with fishnets. The music was pretty freaking loud (my ears are still ringing) and I wasn't a big fan of the techno they played (they should of brought out the Journey, B.Spears, and Lady Gaga). It wasn't super crowded and everyone looked like they were having a good time...hehehe...
