by Cintya P. on Lovely 20's feel and groovy crowds with a classy twist and hip atmosphere. This lounge sets you back in time and gives you a very different ambiance that sets it apart from other lounges in the LA nightlife. This place is a bit tricky to find because it's in an alley way. It can get pretty crowded in the weekends here so if you will be looking for a place to sit down with friends I recommend to come a tad bit early, but not too early! This place has a high price range on drinks! $14 to almost $16 a cocktail, wow! Very expensive but I guess it's somewhat worth it since their drinks are very smooth and strong and there is no cover!
by Kristine W. on Rouge = when trash tries to become class. Rouge is a good place to come if your only objective of the night is to dance. It's not the place to go if you're looking to pick someone up because the pickings are slim, so bring your friends/ boy-toy...and STICK with them. Def not the place "to be seen" (see website's photos for a taste). But crowd and gaudiness aside, I had a damn good time. Thumbs up: NO COVER w/ guestlist before 11pm (Saturday), no line, ACTUAL room to dance and breathe, gaudy decor (so what if I like to feel like I'm in a drag queen's boudoir?), speedy bar service, mostly top 40s/ hip hop/ with the obligatory MJ tribute set Thumbs down: the crowd = older/ douchey/ trying to relive their 20s OR younger/ douchey/ dancing-on-bar-tops-when-they-really-shouldn't-be (but isn't that always the case?)
by Glinda Lastrapes on This place had mixed reviews. I liked the drinks; they helped us need a taxi ride back home. The music and the dancing were great. The food, well I am from Asia and well let's say they would have a problem if they were in the Hong. All in all we had a great time and by the forth round we had more fun than we should have. The bathroom provided a completely new experience, and I lived in a dorm till this year. I have never seen the "gymnastics" that I witnessed, wow that girl will be in X-rated films. Thank you rateclubs for helping me plan my weekend.
