by Bettyna J. on Had wayyyy too much fun here last night DJ /music was awesome...he played current music...not just 80s-90s Drinks were reasonable (around $8 each). Bartenders did not initially make them strong...but if asked they obliged...lol. DJ was awesome so come ready to dance. I had an awesome time....lol...thats all i can say...and that they will see me again.
by Kathleen W. on "K" is for Koko's. Came here for Alphabar after Nightlife. Made some new friends and hung out with some old ones. That's always a good time. The bartenders are fast and know how to mix a mean drink. Cash only though. Luckily shouting: "Will someone buy me a drink" worked pretty well for me here. The bouncer really wasn't interested in the banana I had in my purse though. I also lost a heel somewhere between the car and the bar. Curses!!
by Magda Debusk on i went here for my boy b's b-day get together this past friday night 12/5... we had other plans to go somewhere and those fell thru so we ended up here... first of there was no one in line.... like no one... zero. the "lady with the clipboard" approaches our group of 21 and says we can get in, no problem... but only if we buy 2 bottles at $375 each, plus gratuity (we werent gonna have the girls pay and there was only about 7 guys in our group so do the math). we said ummm theres no one in line why are u requiring bottle service? so we are walking away and they say ok just pay cover ($20) and girls get in free. wtf? lol the place is ok looking. i mean its pretty nice. nothing that i havent seen a million times before. i ordered a rum and coke (small glass) and a shot of vodka and it was $25... wow. whatever. the dance floor was kinda small but it was to packed so it was ok. it was predominately asian people in there (as well as area.... is friday night asian night in hollywood?) but it was all good. i mean i had fun with my group. it was an ok place. my friend got kicked out but he probably deserved it.
