Came here in November of 2009 for the first time. Waited over an hour after the doors opened for being on the "guest list" but eventually got inside. Drinks were expensive but pretty strong. I was impressed by the decor in the lounge and bathroom; REALLY NICE!!! They played top 40s with a jazzy over tone by the guy on the trumpet, blowing his little heart out. Overall, music was OK. After waiting in line for over an hour (and having got there at 9 and I believe they opened at 10?) and being in the club for about 30 minutes, they let, what seemed like the entire line in, and it became a sardine can!!! There were literally bodies EVERYWHERE!!! One of my friends was pushed off the boxes in the dance room and got into a scuffle with the other girl and was kicked out for hitting her in the face. I was on the way OUT OF THE CLUB, and being polite as possible, when I came across a guy who apparently felt the need to yell at me for placing my hand behind his back and saying "Excuse me." His fat friend felt the need to get involved and get in my face and we exchanged some words before i was pulled away by a friend. I found my boyfriend and I pointed out the guy who yelled at me. My BF purposely bumped into him and said "What's up dude?" and the guy said "Oh it's all good bro." REALLY?! UGH. Overall an OK experience. Will be returning in the near future for my cousin's birthday so I will write another review. Let's hope it's positive this time. :)

this was perhaps the most disappointing eating experience i've had in New York. Words can not explain how terribly managed this restaurant is. I can't actually speak about the food because me and my partner waited for an hour and 15 minutes for the food to come before we walked out. Our waiter did not once come by once to apologize or explain the situation, we had to ask him. Granted, it was a beautiful space. but as i looked around the half empty restaurant on a tuesday night, i wondered why our food never came. The staff said the manager was going to come by our table, but after 15 minutes of waiting for her on top of our hour and 15 minutes wait for the food that never came, we decided that it was not worth waitng. At the door, there were other tables that just walked out as well. The host staff did next to nothing to help the situation. It baffles me that a place like this can exist in new york city. If you're planning on a special evening, i suggest another option because it certainly ruined our night.

I like the decor of this place. Rouge, the chandelier, the material of the seating area, I think it's velvet if I remembered correctly... and they have white table cloth on the table! The music sucks, the crowd is so-so. The second time we went was for Halloween, 2 years ago. As the party bus stopped by there were no shortage of already half drunk people pouring into the already crowded club..... that was my last time there and none of my friends ever mentioned wanting to go back lol... but nice colour rouge :)
