I have been going to the GT since I was in kindergarten, and the place doesn't usually disappoint. Every now and then they have an off night, but certainly nothing to keep me from recommending it. While it is considerably more expensive than your average neighborhood Chinese food place, they tend to be ahead of the curve on a lot of things- valet parking, health conscious choices, and they have a pretty discerning wine list. I love the Szechuan Eggplant and the soups. It's worth the trip, the calories and the price once in a while to enjoy Chinese food that's higher in quality and richer in experience than your average take-out stop. There's a reason why this place has been there for over 20 years.

Got write this down before I forgot. We came here for Mardi Gras. Didn't remember much, but the impression was hot ladies lined up the street! That's what most important for the guys went with us I guess. The venue is kind the small but with two floors. There was live show on the stage, and the DJ was great! The drinks were a bit strong as what I remembered. We had lots of fun that night!
