by Jess O. on Ooo yes food, drinks and a show!! My BF has been wanting to take me here for the longest time. He's been to the one in Oakland tho. So I surprised him with tickets to see one of his favorite bands! (I know I'm such a good gf! ha!) The place is great! spacious, clean, and modern. We had reservations at 8 for dinner. I suggest getting there a little earlier so you'll have time to find parking. Also you will need to pick up your tickets from will call before heading to your restaurant. The food was great! I had the Hamachi kama it was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth inside! I almost ate the whole thing. My Bf had the rainbow roll and one other roll. pretty good very fresh. The host was super nice and joked around with us through out our dinner. We also had the sake sampler, which they give you pretty big glasses. I was seriously getting tipsy off our one sampler. For dessert (yes! we had dessert) we tried the sweet potato donuts!! SOOO GOOD! although I could barely move after all that food! On to the show. We ended dinner just in time for us to head over to the show. Which started at 10:30. We had a table, we had table 51, I agree with everyone else that the tables are suuuper close together. GOod thing our show had the dance floor empty which gave us space. I would suggest just doing open seating if you plan on dancing the whole night. The show was awesome, service was great, and I will be back. HINT: go to costco in hayward to pick up the gift certificates. I think you save 10-20 dollars! Plus if you eat dinner reservations you get a 40 dollar credit to use at dinner. I ended up saving about 50 dollars! If you choose not to have dinner you could save even more. We had a special night so we went all out!
by Marc Celaya on one time I went here from 5am to 7am on a whim, we drove up from San Jose. Its open all weekend, literally, and the back patio is a great spot to dance.
