Cover not even worth the eye candy! I keep going back and "trying" this place, but its always a let down. I've been here to meet friends, to hit up another bar, on event night, etc. Overpriced and overrated! Its midnight and you still want me to pay $5 to get in, too? Then, I get in and the drinks are watered down? This place has a club feel, which is unlike many of the other bars. The only redemptive feature are the modern bathrooms. But every time I've been there, there have been NO locks! Just waitin to read about THIS lawsuit!

this place remind me of lot 46 which is long and narrow with the them stairs... you know what i mean when you hit up lot 46, seem pretty packed toward the front of the dance floor but got empty toward the back, great place for your friends to dance with out random people harassing them :) ill give them place another shot this coming weekend :)

After watching Rateclubers duke it out at Titanium Training Center, Me and a lot of Rateclubloyees go to Vertigo for even more boozed out hijinks. (Thanks again Nish for the first round!). The small Polynesian joint has its charms. The drinks are average priced. The bathroom is clean from what I can remember. Ugh. I can't recall much about the place as I was too busy checking out the scenery (people watching). I will have to update this after Spinfamous tomorrow. Update to come. *Update* After the Bollywood Elite event, I high tail it over here to see Clinton K's set as it is his debut night on the Ones and Twos. Upon further inspection, this place is not "Polynesian themed"; it is all tiki bared out. Decor: The walls are filled w/ wooden masks and other traditional decor. Drinks: The specials are great! Margaritas and Black Cherry (something or other) for $5 all night long. Customer service: I order a cranberry juice and finish that quickly. I then order water which gets finished quickly. I then chop it up w/ my bar mates and turn around for a some ice. Like magic...the glass is filled w/ water again! This happens another time! (I had just come from Chevy's in Embarcadero and you have to ask for things 3x there) This simple act of good customer service was not taken for granted. After this stint of sobriety, I will definitely partake of the booze at Vertigo, where I am sure to have a good night.
