Roe seemed better before they renovated. That was the only time i went there before i went about a month ago. There is something about the place that just turned me off to it.. I don't know if it was the overcrowded dance floor/ walk way, or the bad table seating were the tables are exactly on the dance floor with nothing in between so people are standing right in front of your table, or it might of been the horrible DJ that went from hip hop to rock to twist and shout??? yes, the DJ started playing those types of songs from the i don't even know what era... because the first thing I want to do when I'm drunk is twist and shout. Roe is a nice place but I was just not feeling it that night, and i doubt i would the next time too IF i go.

There are places that vegetarians perhaps should not rate. But when dragged here by friends eager, for some ungodly reason, to slurp down oysters, I feel I can at least mutter inside my pint of beer "Why can't they have any food for me." The beer selection is decent, and the view from the upstairs porch is really nice on a hot southern evening. Inside it is a bit loud and stuffy until around 11, when it becomes as dead as the next door Oakland Cemetary.

This is a great place to see a show. The inside is really detailed and shaped well to see the stage. I was never too hot or cold during the show and was able to navigate well enough. The second level is great for taking a break from the crowd and to chill for a bit. The last show I saw there worried me a bit. The artist told everyone to jump up and down and I could feel the floor flexing up and down. A little awkward, but it made it more fun in the long run...
