Some nights the music seems off but check the calendar, show up on a good night, and you're in for a really fun time. It's sometimes hard to get a drink at the bar downstairs so just go to the upstairs bar. Happy hours, W-F 5-9pm, $3 draft $5 wells. Rock. On.
by Stephanie S. on Yuck, yuck, yuck. I give it 3 stars because it has character. Lot's of character!!! If you do come here (tourist anyone?) then you have to come during the peak lunch times. Pack yourselves into the long arrangement of lines rubbing shoulders with the hard and gritty Atlanta workers and tilt your head bewilderingly as you try to understand what the hell she's saying to you!? If you have to order something, keep it simple, no one needs that much grease in their diet! Choose to sit either in the single school desks in the room broadcasting the news on a single 18 inch tv screen. Or you can sit in a crummy booth if there's one available. The scene is unreal, full of noise and chaos yet someone everyone is happy. You just have to roll with it. And remember to take one of the paper pop out hats to keep as a souvenir, because chances are you'll never eat here ever again.
by Nicholas E. on The baby Fillmore. I love this place. Shows here are so much fun. Small enough to feel intimate with enough balcony/standing room space to chill out. I saw Deerhoof here last night and the sound was PERFECT. I think I agree that this is the best venue in the city.
