by Alexander P. on Nikki gets worst every time I go. I guess my first time I went I enjoyed it, was never crazy about it. Maybe it is because I had bottle service, and the vip section does give you a good amount of space between the chaotic dance floor and your bottles. Regardless, the music is so so, not my type, the effects are hit or miss, and the crowd seems to be older, mostly Brighton Beach Russian girls. Basically, you can find a lot of better places in NYC. Its fun if you are in Midtown, the door is easy.
by Rowena Romanik on Scene (Saturday) - Asians galore Bouncers and doormen high on power holding up the 2 lines as if it was a Vegas nightclub. My friend had a table and they were still being dicks and not letting her get priority entrance. Trance/House on main floor and a dark 'n' dingy hip hop cave downstairs. It got crowded quick but that doesn't justify being a**holes. The entry staff really set off our night the wrong way and because of that, we will not be coming back.
by Kristin L. on Wow! I had been waiting to check this place out for months. My only regret is that it took me so long to do it. I pretty much never go out clubbing. . . dressing up like a hooker and paying $20 cover is not my thing. But, we love to dance. What to do? Well, now I know to head to Bootie at the DNA Lounge. It was totally unpretentious (come as you are) and had great music that you recognize and love. I also thought the second smaller room upstairs added even more variety to enjoy. We are now holding monthly trips to "the City" to basque in the joy that is dancing at Bootie!
