by Brad T. on I'm a huge fan of the burger here. They are made to order and quite customizable. The Player's combo is excellent for the value. They have both traditional ice you would find from a soft drink machine in restaurants and a large machine that dispenses excellent crushed ice. One tip: the fries are a little bland if left alone. Try asking for Tony's Seasoning on them. It definitely adds a needed zest for me. Up late and want a good, fast place to eat? I'd vote for Player's.

So - to sum up - if someone else is paying or this is going on a corporate card you should go. If not, don't. If you do go - try the sweet corn pudding. For steak - sirloin is the best bet.
by Kevin D. on 3-floors of sheer design monstrosity, the continental midtown is credited with breathing new life into what was once an ailing chestnut street corridor. however garrish, tacky, and all around obnoxious the life may be, you can't deny there's more of it. (if you've ever been around on a friday or saturday night, you know exactly what i mean.) some of the worst moments: -mismatched seat heights -design vomitus all about -bathrooms with two-way mirrors OR scuzzy carwash flap entryways -vibrating buzzers for waiting guests ala the olive garden. -an elevator that only holds six, doesn't stop at the second floor, and is remarkably slow. -servers in clothes at least 3 sizes too short/small. uck. but it's still #2 in buying liquor from the state. guess it can't be all bad...
