I have always wanted to try this place, and it did not dissapoint. I have tried the tempura mix of veggies and shrimp (wonderful) and the lemongrass soup. (a little spicy, but good!) I have also had the cashew shrimp which was fresh and good tasting. I really like the rain crab/shrimp roll with plum sauce, they were just about the best I have tried. If you are near Cheshire Bridge area-this is a must try!

Even though the guys here weren't very attractive (I know I'm being superficial, but come on you gotta rate a bar/club by its eye candy), I had a really great time here and love that this place is HUGE! The dance floor is immense, it reminded me of a dance floors in Vegas. I also liked the 80's cover band, they rocked! Another plus in my book was that there were plenty of tables and you didn't need a reservation to sit at one. I will come back here, but not very often since parking is a bitch and you pretty much need to valet and they charge 10 bucks to get in! Lameness! I'll have to stick to the SAMO one more because parking is 3.50 and no cover. But this Busby's is definitely a good place to go if you wanna go to hollywood, want a good dance floor, but not all the bs of a club.

The El Rio does not pass the "stinks like many different cheeses" dive bar test. In other words, when you walk in the front door, it smells like many different cheeses. Also, there is a thick curtain you have to walk through which probably has many different strains of the plague on it. The bathrooms? Well, the men's urinal is a two-fer, and when the door is open, you are all of a sudden putting on a potty-training exhibition for the other patrons. After the show, we had to carry our gear through the incredibly narrow corridor between the bar and the shuffleboard table. The regulars didn't move so I had to just plow through them as they grumbled. The place is a little better on the weekends when they open up the back room. It's more spacious. During the week though, blech. The employees should make an effort to clean the place up just a litttle.
