by Andrew D. on I went here for a birthday party last night, Friday night. It was not bad, did not live up to the hype, but then again I have not been on Thursday yet. Drinks and cover were a tad expensive, but the crowd was pretty good, even if a bit suburban. I'll go back again.
by yes p. on You can trust that any restaurant with velvet wallpaper resembling old Romania will serve good Ethiopian food. The vegetarian sampler is always great and always a lot of food. One drawback is that service is soooo slow on busy nights, so I don't recommend it if you're on a schedule. If you go prepared to chill, however, it is worth the wait.
by Earle Ales on I've been here a few times to see local bands play downstairs, and it's not a bad setup. Well-stocked bar, semi-friendly bartenders [depending upon who you get], lots of area to kick back and eat, drink, gab, dance, whatever. You can mingle or keep to yourself, either way, pretty easily. You can pretty much see the stage from anywhere in the room, so if you're a shorty like me, you'll appreciate that too. There's nothing really to complain about here, yet it's nothing special. I do enjoy the fact that it's housed within WXPN, though. :)
