I've been coming here since the grand opening, and it has never failed to provide a good time! From the sleek interior to the sexy staff, it's safe to say Door 44 is easy on the eyes. Music is always bumping, and the scantily clad go-go's keep it bouncing. I've brought large groups of people here numerous times for various events (birthdays, engagement parties, even bachelorette parties) because the staff and owners have never failed to please. When it comes to paying the cover, I'd rather pay it here over any other club in Atlanta. The khaki club and sorority sisters can take it down the street... It's funny though, numerous times I've mentioned being in the Parlor to people who've been there and had no idea there was a downstairs. That's the true gem! Easy access to drinks and debauchery.... what more could you want? Con: Parking can sometimes be a bit sketchy, but hey it's Midtown.

I tried this place out as my first dance club since moving to LA and I was really disappointed.  First of all, if you like old Asian guys (like with gray hair and everything), really young asian girls (like 16 years old) wearing shorts, tennis shoes and pony tails like they just went for a run, progressive house/trance music, and possibly hookers then this place is for you. The main turn off for me was the music.  My bff was visiting me and we wanted to have a fun girls night and our first mistake was not asking what kind of music they played before we wasted $20 going in.  Then our next mistake was not paying attention to the crowd that was in line waiting to go in.  Seriously there were hella old dudes once I actually paid attention.  Not that I was going there for that, but still, it puts out a weird vibe. Anyway, we were looking for a place that plays more euro-dance, techno, hip-hop, anything with lyrics that has a good beat but not trance, I can't stand that.  I would have been able to deal with the atmosphere/people if the music was good.  Guys were not grabby or anything though which was nice.  I will never go here again.

So if you are looking for a "special" place to have an outstanding meal check out Le Club, the food is great.  Outstanding seafood, perfectly seared scallops, they way they should be done.  And ocean fresh oysters.    We also enjoyed the beautiful presentation of the the food, I have never seen a more beautiful choucroute garnie, and don't worry the food tastes as good as it looks.  And make sure you do too!  This is a classy place, so  leave the designer jeans, flip-flops and Ryan Secrest tee-shirt in the closet and put on a collared shirt and enjoy being a grown up.
